Wireless innovations are in the process of changing the way we live and work by giving people access to more information than they ever imagined. Wider bandwidth will allow computers to incorporate graphic display and Internet features besides plain text. Using this wireless communication, a virtual network can be created. This eliminates the complexity of wired networks and suits well for short distance communication. The data are transmitted using the RS232 serial interface in the form of Radio waves as a sequence of ‘0’’s and ‘1’’s.
Network Interface Card (NIC) at one end acts as transmitter and produce the radio waves for the corresponding data. NIC at another end acts as receiver and receive the
Radio waves from the air and convert to actual data. Data transfer is serial.
